Welcome to CODiii Scout, an AI chatbot powered by OpenAI's ChatGPT, designed for architects, engineers, contractors, and other designers to assist with building code or zoning review compliance checks. By accessing or using CODiii Scout (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Service.

  1. Use of Service
    • Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.
    • User Account: You need to create an account to access certain features of the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account.
    • Uploaded Content: We collect and process the documents you upload for the chatbot to read and respond to.v

    • Document Uploads: You may upload documents for the chatbot to read and provide responses. You retain ownership of any intellectual property rights that you hold in the content you upload.
    • Content Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the accuracy, quality, and legality of the content you upload. You must ensure that the content does not infringe on any third-party rights.
  3. Permitted Use
    • Purpose: The Service is intended to assist with extracting information from (and not limited to) Client-driven Standards, Building codes, Zoning Bylaws and in-house Design Guidelines. As CODiii is a reinforced learning AI platform, the accuracy of the information extracted must be verified by the user. It is not a substitute for professional advice.
    • Restrictions: You agree not to misuse the Service. This includes, but is not limited to, the following prohibited actions:
      • Using the Service for any illegal purpose.
      • Uploading content that is harmful, offensive, or violates any laws or regulations.
      • Interfering with or disrupting the Service.
  4. Intellectual Property
    • Ownership: CODiii Scout and its content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of OQULi Inc. and its licensors.
    • License: Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service.
